“Wow…” Merida said taking in the salty breeze. This was all so new to her. “Yer so lucky ta ‘ave this whole place ta yerself. Nobody ta tell ye what ta do or what not ta do…”
” Are you kidding?” He sighed. ” Thats all I have… well, no one really tells me. I have to remember them all on my own, with no help…and I have to make sure everything is still taken care of, but the pressure of the motives that my colleagues are making is too much to bear at the moment.”
“Well if its too much ta bear…” Merida smiled looking up at him. “Ye should just relax a wee bit… time ta get away from all of this…”
He nodded, liking the sound of that idea. ” Yeah, which is why I’m glad you’re here! Maybe I could atleast get some time away from all of that junk. ” He sighed, smiling down at her.
“I brought mah bow.” Merida said gesturing towards it. “Would ye still like a lesson?”
He stares down at his feet a moment and smiles at the offer, then looks back up at her. ” Ofcourse I do, I’ll lead you to a place that I think would be perfect for practicing” He shows her to the castle, and brings her around to where the garden is, there is a little trail that leads in a small glade where there are many trees to shoot at for target practice.
Merida walked forward looking for a perfect tree to use as a target, “Aye it’s perfect…” She handed him the bow and stepped back. “Now place the part of the arrow with the odd color facin’ out… then draw back ta yer cheek and focus…”
” Alright…” He tried it, slightly buckling with the string. ” Hm.. this is more difficult than it looks, Merida.” He smirked. ” You’re incredible” Even he, the muscular ADAM was having a hard time.
“Och, thank ye…” Merida beamed, feeling a dark red blush. She positioned the bow for him, letting her hand touch his made her feel a little…. different. ” ‘Ere now… keep yer eye on the target…”
” Okay” He said with a determinded tone, staring at the tree holding the bow. ” Now what?”
“Relax and let go…” She said, pushing his arm up a little so he wouldnt miss.
